Insight into the Workplace
We host regular twilight information sessions to give you an insight into the work of world. Events so far have taken in construction, care, hospitality and ICT. Many of the sessions offer access to live vacancies.

Vocational Training Programmes
These short programmes are designed to meet the needs of employers who are recruiting in specific areas. Each programme lasts between two and six weeks and provides you with essential skills, qualifications and real work experience.
Each course is offered on a regular basis and is open to all ages. Current courses include:
- Essential IT – learn how computers work, how to troubleshoot and provide technical support; includes certification required by employers in contact centres, banking, IT support and technology retail.
- Social Care – includes certificates in moving and handling, ReHIS food hygiene, first aid and many more.
- Retail – key customer service skills, sales processes and objection handling..
- Basic IT Skills – Includes introduction to computers, setting up an email address, searching the internet, creating and managing documents and attaching documents to emails. Course runs every Tuesday and Wednesday morning (9.30am – noon)
