Case Study: Trident Engineering Consultants

Trident Engineering Consultants have been designing and engineering bulk fuel storage and distribution terminals for over 25 years and have completed projects in the UK, Europe, Africa and Asia.

While appreciating the international competition within major oil producing countries, the company had long recognised the Middle East as a potential market for business development. Oman, in particular, was identified as a country with robust trade links with the UK and an underdeveloped potential in bulk fuel storage facilities in comparison with its neighbours.

With exhibition funding, Trident attended the Infra Oman 2012 exhibition in Muscat earlier this month. On the success of this endeavour, Managing Director Callum MacLachlan said:

The exhibition allowed us to show our commitment to developing business relationships in Oman and provided a number of networking opportunities. In time, these may develop into projects for the company; safeguarding jobs and possibly creating new ones.
