Keynote address from Jamie Hepburn MSP, Minister for Business, Fair Work and Skills
You are invited to join us at Paisley Town Hall for Renfrewshire’s annual Economic Development Conference which focuses this year on “Ensuring Inclusive Growth”.
Renfrewshire has a unique record of partnership working and this event normally attracts over 150 local staff involved in local economic development and employability. It’s a great opportunity to hear what’s going on in the area, to catch up on new developments and to network with local colleagues. And it’s free!
Renfrewshire’s economic position has improved significantly over the last 5 years: unemployment has continued to fall; local jobs have increased and our economy continues to grow. There are some exciting new developments in the pipeline which will further strengthen the economy and create additional local jobs.
Amidst all of this positive news we are absolutely determined to ensure that we have equality of access to these opportunities across all areas and all groups of people. We want Renfrewshire to allow every individual to participate to their full potential and we aim to impact positively across all of Renfrewshire’s communities with our investments and services.
You can choose to book just for the morning session/ just the afternoon session or for the full day when you register.
The brief agenda is:
