Business Gateway Renfrewshire is a publicly funded service that provides a range of support and advice to existing businesses. Our advisers will be on hand to discuss your specific business issues, challenges and opportunities and help you to determine the best strategy for moving your business forward.
Business Gateway Start-Up Awareness Workshop 10am -11am
Learn the essentials about getting a new business off the ground. Come along to our workshop to ensure you get the basics right and that you make the correct decision. The session covers many useful sources of advice and guidance including assessing the viability of your idea with business planning, understanding market research, how to choose your legal structure, insurances, plus tax & VAT.

Project Search 11.15am -11.45am
Project SEARCH is a successful college / employability programme delivered in partnership by Invest in Renfrewshire and Glasgow Clyde College. The programme supports 12 young people each year aged 17 – 26 who have a learning disability and / or autism. The participants (known as Interns) split their time between attending college classes and work placements within Renfrewshire Council and local businesses.
Many of the Interns aspire to move into job roles and sectors that are not available within a Council setting. To ensure we get this right we would like to create a Business Advisory Committee (BAC) and would be delighted if YOU or your organisation would consider joining.
