Creative Hub Development Fund
The Fund aims to support a dynamic network of enterprising people aiming to set up their own creative spaces in collaboration with others.
These new Creative Business Hubs may take a range of forms, from makerspaces to labs, but will share a commitment to sustaining and growing small local businesses and contributing to a better future for them.
The Hub would be led by a single business and could offer any of the following:
- HOTDESKING
- CREATIVE STUDIO SPACE
- TRAINING, WORKSHOPS
- NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES
- ACCESS TO EQUIPMENT, SKILLS, RESOURCES, NETWORKS
- INCUBATION, BUSINESS SUPPORT, MENTORING, FINANCING
- RETAIL AND PROMOTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
- RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
The support would be offered to the leaseholder of the Creative Business Hub on the basis that the subsidy would in turn be offered to the other businesses locating in the hub (in their first 18 months of being in the hub).
