Graduate Intern Organisational Development

Main Duties / Responsibilities:

 

  • Utilise digital technology to support the promotion of the Organisational Development and Workforce Planning team’s key work areas such as videos, webinars, podcasts etc.
  • Research, develop and implement inclusive digital learning solutions, including supporting the development of I learn (our e-learning platform) that will support the learning development of the Council workforce and the transformation agenda.
  • Ensure that the Council’s e-learning and other digital learning resources are accessible, modern and appropriate.
  • Research, develop, implement and promote different approaches to digital learning e.g. (distance, e-learning, online learning) to ensure the Council’s digital learning resources are modern and appropriate.
  • Develop reporting solutions that demonstrate the impact of digital learning initiatives.

 

Qualifications/Key Skills:

  • Benchmarking and research skills.
  • Data, systems and digital learning and media skills
  • Degree in a discipline that includes the use of media/digital technologies

 

Skills and Development will include but are not limited to:

 

  • Communication skills through networking with internal and external contacts.
  • Team working and partnership working skills.
  • Knowledge and skills associated with the current e-learning platform and other digital learning approaches.
  • Skills in writing and presenting briefing and options appraisals.
  • Collaborative partnership working skills.

Future Paisley Programme Coordinator

Main Duties / Responsibilities:

 

  • Pro-actively support the overall Future Paisley programme (exhibition, engagement, programme and marketing and work as part of the Cultural regeneration team, specific duties and responsibilities are to support the Strategic Lead and partners by:
  • Leading on overall coordination and supporting production of the Future Paisley programme: arranging meetings, drafting and issuing schedules, reports and maintaining and tracking budgets.
  • Set up and support the Future Paisley working group.
  • Develop positive working relationships with a range of different colleagues and partners to support the delivery of the project.
  • Support the development and delivery of community engagement, launch, media and exhibition opening and public programme events.
  • Support the delivery of the external exhibition including liaising with consultants and the venue on all aspects of the exhibition’s production and run.
  • Assist with preparation for presentations, funding applications and evaluation reports.
  • Maintain project schedules and action plans, leading on the co-ordination and compiling of monitoring and status reports.
  • Support meetings including issuing agendas, booking rooms, writing and issuing minutes and following up actions.

 

Qualifications/Key Skills:

 

  • Knowledge and/or interest in culture and regeneration.
  • Regeneration and community engagement skills.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage positive working relationships
  • Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrate initiative and to develop leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of Marketing & communications.
  • Ability to complete all tasks on time and to required standards.
