FE Live Audio – “Sound location for growth”
FE Live Audio are a young and vibrant Pro Audio Solutions business that have an ever growing client base of Event Promoters, high profile touring artists, corporate clients and venue owners. They specialise in providing sound equipment for businesses and individuals, covering a wide range of live events that include concerts, touring production, theatre, product launches, sports events, corporate event production and conferences.
Having now established themselves as one of the country’s fastest growing and most reliable sound hire companies, they have decided to expand the business into sound equipment sales, with the selling point of having experienced staff members who actually go out and use these products in the field.
Andrew McMillan, Director of FE Live Audio commented,
“It is very rare in Scotland for there to be a dual supplier of both sound hire and sound sales equipment at the top level. This part of the business would be focused on selling to trade, and to freelancers and production managers within the industry. Our focus is on the needs of customers who operate with touring artists and performers, and to venue technical staff who need reliable, trustworthy and recognisable brands to fulfil the needs of their visiting productions”.
In order to accommodate this expansion the directors realised they would need to identify a new property. Through working with the Invest in Renfrewshire, Business Team, they were able to identify and secure a lease on a new 3,000 sq ft unit at Northpoint, Hillington Park.
Invest in Renfrewshire were also able to provide financial support towards this project, FE Live Audio made a successful application through the Growth Company Development Fund.
Andrew McMillan, Director of FE Live Audio advised,
“Although the building was suitable for our expansion plans, it was essentially an empty shell. Therefore the grant support, from Invest in Renfrewshire’s – Growth Company Development Fund, to construct offices and a reception area was vital to ensure our plans could succeed.”
Colette Saez, Assistant Manager – Business Support at Renfrewshire Council stated,
“I am delighted that Invest in Renfrewshire were able to support FE Live Audio. This new location, will ensure the company remain within the Renfrewshire Council area for the foreseeable future and will also enable them to significantly increase sales over the coming years.”
