Our Graduate Internship programme aims to assist local, unemployed or under-employed University graduates gain sustainable employment by enhancing their skills and work-based knowledge through the provision of meaningful, paid work experience.
Participants will complete a short-term piece of work within a local Renfrewshire business. Some examples of previous project work include; Marketing, Strategy, Communication, Project Development and Research activities.
The internships will provide hands-on practical experience with responsibility that will aid personal development. In addition, the intern will gain valuable employability skills.
Internships are available to Renfrewshire residents who are registered with Invest in Renfrewshire and have graduated in recent years from University having achieved an Ordinary, Honours and/or Master’s degree.
We may be able to support Graduates who do not fully meet all the above criteria so please contact us to discuss.
All Graduate Internship positions are client led and therefore the duration of the internship will vary depending on the specific needs of the Graduate and development requirements.
The internships will be generally be for a period of no less than 3 months and no more than 6 months. Interns should attend their paid placement for 35 hours per week on a full time, fixed term basis, however slight alterations may have to be agreed, based on individual business requirements.
