Access to Work Support Fund

Overview

Invest in Renfrewshire’s Access to Work Fund is a flexible source of funding to support unemployed residents overcome the financial barriers of transport and child/dependent care that can restrict take up of employment opportunities until first pay date.

Who is eligible?

Any unemployed resident of Renfrewshire (16-64 years) seeking to return to work who:

• is in direct receipt of out of work benefits for at least 4 weeks
• has a confirmed job offer but requires financial support to take up and sustain employment due to transport or childcare needs.

Application Process

• Pick up an application from your DWP Work Coach or download here.
• Complete all parts of application. Make sure you have all your documents required as this will delay your application process.
• Visit Invest in Renfrewshire with your application (2 Lawn Street, Paisley, PA1 1HA).
• Complete brief interview with Invest in Renfrewshire Adviser.
• Receive notice of Award.
